The Smoky Mountain National Park in North Carolina has become a hub for barbecue thanks to its abundant food.
And thanks to the National Park Service, you can enjoy the food as you go, too.
The park is home to the Smokies best BBQ, and it is free to visit.
This is one of those special spots that will make you want to come back.
The Smokie BBQ is located in the Rocky Mountain National Forest and is open year-round.
The location is perfect for outdoor dining, as it is just over 30 miles from most towns and cities in the state.
If you’re in the area, you’ll want to make reservations for your trip as they sell out.
You can pick up a meal from the Smoked Barbecue in the National Forest at a cost of $50.
Smoked barbecued meats are made in the park.
If there’s anything special you want, you’re welcome to bring it back and have it cooked by the staff.
But for the most part, the staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions you have.
The barbecues are offered on a first come first serve basis.
You must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
And if you plan to come again, you need to bring a BBQ grill or smoker.
The Smokey Mountain National Barbecue is available for pick-up only.
You’ll need to show proof of age to enter and you will be required to bring your own food.
There are also picnic tables at the park to enjoy the outdoor dining experience.
The restaurant is also a great spot to watch a sunset or even a movie at the Smokes restaurant.
This spot is open for dining, so there’s no reason to skip it.
It’s also a fantastic spot to stop by for some BBQ in the woods.
