Posted September 13, 2018 06:16:09A 4-yr-old Colorado boy and his brother were rescued Friday after being stranded in an avalanche near the famed Yellowstone National Parks.
The boy and two others were rescued in a vehicle that was hit by an avalanche on a road near the Mount Rose and Mount Jefferson peaks.
The incident happened about 2:15 p.m. near the junction of Mount Rose Road and the Appalachian Mountains Trail.
The child and his mother were uninjured, according to park officials.
The family is being housed at a nearby hotel.
