A man has been arrested for allegedly murdering a man in the outskirts of Delhi and injuring many others, police said on Sunday.
Police arrested an unidentified man at about 4pm (0200 GMT) in the Juhu area of the city.
The victim, a resident of Rajkot, was shot in the back and collapsed in the middle of the road in front.
He was rushed to the hospital but later died.
The man’s identity was not immediately known.
Police said the shooting was not linked to the recent unrest in the capital.
The violence has left many residents living in the city without electricity or water.
The government is also struggling to keep the peace after a spate of attacks on police and other citizens on New Year’s Eve.
