By By Alex StangaroneIt’s time to step outside and enjoy some of the best outdoor ice hockey in the world, and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
It’s been a long, tough season for the Penguins, but they’re on their way to the Stanley Cup.
They’ll play the Nashville Predators in Game 5 on Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena.
If you’re looking for a nice, easy way to spend a couple of hours outdoors, the Penguins will be playing a series of games in the mountains near the town of Wabash.
The series of outdoor games will start Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
ET in Wabashes first ice rink, the O.C. Ice Arena.
The Penguins will host the Predators in a game scheduled for Tuesday at 8 p.M.
ET at the Wabacs home rink.
Pittsburgh is a team with a history of winning outdoor games.
The franchise won four Stanley Cups during its brief existence as the Chicago Blackhawks, and four more under Phil Esposito, including four in 2015 and 2016.
The Penguins, of course, have won the Stanley Cups every season since Esposit took over as the franchise’s general manager in 2008.
But it wasn’t until 2013 that the franchise won a Stanley Cup in franchise history, a feat that has been repeated several times in recent years.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are in the midst of a four-game homestand.
That will leave them without a home game for almost three weeks.
They have a home playoff game against the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday at 8:30 pm.
If it sounds like you’re ready to spend some quality time outdoors, take a look at the Penguins outdoor schedule.
The team will play games in Wausau and Milwaukee on Monday and Tuesday, while the teams home game will be against the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday at 7 p.ms. on Fox Sports Wisconsin.
The games at the Oceana Resort in Waukesha, Wisconsin, are set for Thursday and Friday.
The teams home rink will be the Ice Arena in Wautoma, Wisconsin.
That game will begin at 7 a.m., and will air on WGN-TV.
There will also be some other outdoor hockey games scheduled for the Pittsburgh area on Wednesday, Nov. 17 and Thursday, Nov 18, as well as Thursday and Saturday, Nov 19, as part of the World Hockey Championships.
These are just some of those outdoor outdoor games, but you don’t have to be an avid outdoor hockey fan to enjoy them.
