The storm generated wind gusts up to 65 mph and lightning damage.
A lightning strike in the park is considered a lightning strike.
The National Weather Service said the storm moved eastward at 10 mph.
The National Weather Services office in Boulder, Colorado, issued a tornado warning for parts of the park, with flash flood warnings in effect.
The park is about 40 miles north of Denver, the capital of Colorado.
