The study, which looked at trails in Boulder, Boulder Highlands, and the Colorado Rockies, found that the best trails were in the areas with excellent weather and steep climbs, and were the ones with strong, multi-use trails.
The study said that “high-quality trails provide access to a variety of recreational opportunities, including bike riding, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, camping, and hiking along trails that are not necessarily marked by markers, signs or other physical markers.
The best trails are maintained by local volunteer groups, which include the Mountain Biking Association and the Rocky Mountain Bikers.
For trail maintenance, Colorado has designated the Boulder City Trail Maintenance Department, Boulder County Trail Maintenance, and Boulder Mountain Bikes, among others.
The Mountain Bicycles is an independent, volunteer-run non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mountain biking in Colorado.
The Boulder Mountain Bike Association has been in the mountain biking business for more than 30 years.
The Rocky Mountain Bike Clubs is a 501(c)(3) non-profits organization dedicated solely to the promotion and maintenance of mountain biking.
The top five trails in Colorado have been rated as having the best trail infrastructure in the United States.
The Colorado Department of Transportation also uses these trails as an opportunity to test and evaluate trail design and maintenance.
In 2018, Colorado ranked #5 in the country for number of miles of paved trails.
Colorado is home the largest portion of the Great Divide Trail, which spans nearly 50 miles in the Rocky Mountains.
The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Department also lists the state’s top five best mountain biking routes.
The Grand Canyon, Big Bend and Colorado State Parks are among the top five.
